Etika publikovania

The Social and Economic Revue Journal (SER) is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards. The materials, submitted for the publication in the journal, pass reviewing of the members of the SER Journal Editorial Board. The ideas and offers, stated in articles, not necessarily coincide with the point of view of the Editorial Board. The responsibility for reliability of the information in articles, accuracy of the titles, names and citations is carried by the authors. The Editorial Board keeps the right for minor literary changes and shortening of the articles, saving the authors’ style and conclusions. The texts submitted cannot be published in other economic journals worldwide. All plagiarism issues and issues related to inappropriate citing etc. is to be settled personally by the authors. For ease of dissemination and to ensure proper policing of use, papers and contributions become the legal copyright of the publisher unless otherwise agreed. In order to ensure the outcome of providing our readers with an academic journal of high quality, the SER Journal is guided by the following principles:

The editor of SER Journal is responsible for deciding which of the articles submitted to the journal should be published. In evaluating the submitted works, the editor should limit himself only to the intellectual content. The editor can choose to ignore any material that breaks legal requirements regarding libel, copyright infringement and plagiarism. Editor is treating all authors with fairness, objectivity and transparency; is making editorial decisions and communicating them in a clear manner; is establishing a system for effective and rapid peer review (double-blind review). The editor must ensure the confidentiality of the submitted works until they are published, except in the case of suspicion of double submission. In case the editor decide not to publish a material, the manuscript should not be used for other purposes without the express written consent of the author. The editor of a submitted manuscript must not have a stake in the authors.

The reviewers of SER Journal assist the editor in taking the decision of publishing a submitted manuscript. Reviewers should provide suggestions on how to make the manuscript more relevant, readable and complete. Reviewers should indicate whether the writing is clear and concise, rate the scientific accuracy and originality of the manuscript. Reviewers are obliged to treat the author with respect. The reviewers are bound to treat the manuscript received for peer reviewing as confidential, and must not use the information obtained through peer review for personal advantage. Reviewers have to inform the editor, resp. the Editorial Board about any relevant information that may be a reason to reject publication of the manuscript. The reviewers should not consider manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest with any of the authors, companies, or institutions connected to the papers.

The authors should ensure that they have written entirely original works. When the authors use other materials, sources should be appropriately cited. Any attempt of plagiarism should be followed by the rejection of the submitted manuscript. Authors must ensure that data have been collected in an ethical manner; declare any conflicts of interest; do not make significant changes to your manuscript after it has been accepted without informing the journal editor. Significant changes would include new content, new data, or a change in the list of the authors. Authors cannot list people as co-authors unless they have made a significant contribution to the work and will share responsibility and accountability for the results. Authors should not submit the same work or describe essentially the same research in more than one journal. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently constitutes unethical publishing behaviour, unless otherwise specified. All authors must submit materials that contain no offensive statements, national, religious, racial and other types of aggression or discrimination or can cause ethnic and racial enmity, violate international law and legislation. Authors are responsible for plagiarism detection of the materials; plagiarism in all its forms constitutes unethical publishing behaviour and is unacceptable. Authors obliged to participate in double-blind peer review process. Authors must not submit materials to more than one journal simultaneously. If some parts of material overlap with already published or submitted materials, authors have to acknowledge and cite those sources. Also authors must inform editors about self-plagiarism (any related articles published in other journals). Authors by submitting articles for publication warrant that the work is not an infringement of any existing copyright and will indemnify the publisher against any breach of such warranty.
