Launch of the V4 Student Survey on Generation Z and Education

12.3.2025

The international survey exploring how Generation Z perceives access to education and capacities in the Visegrad region has officially been launched. The questionnaire, prepared within the project “How Generation Z perceives access to education and capacities in the V4 region”, is now being distributed among university students in all four V4 countries — the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia.

The survey aims to capture the views and experiences of Generation Z students regarding the current state and development of higher education. It focuses on two key themes: the role of innovation, digitalisation, and modern teaching methods in learning, and the capacity challenges faced by educational institutions, including staffing, infrastructure, and opportunities for international mobility.

By gathering insights directly from students, the project seeks to better understand how young people perceive the quality, accessibility, and flexibility of education in their respective countries. The collected data will provide a comparative perspective across the V4 region and help identify recommendations for improving higher education systems to meet the needs of the new generation of learners.

Data collection is currently in progress and will continue until the end of November 2025. Through this initiative, the project team hopes to give Generation Z students across the Visegrad region a stronger voice in shaping the future of education — one that is more innovative, inclusive, and better aligned with the demands of the modern world.
